IDEA: Inter-District Experience in Art Exhibition

Students from Southern Lehigh and Palisades High schools exhibit art in Penn state Gallery

  Tuesday, March 22, 5:30-7:30 pm

 

Just A Slice is an exhibition of paintings by high school art students from Palisades and Southern Lehigh High Schools.  These students, under the tutelage of Cathy Beck and Anne Sikorski-Schneider, create their own interpretation from landscapes of Bucks and Lehigh Counties.  Each student will combine simultaneously multiple artistic view points from various photographic slices within their one painting.  This concept is interpreted from the artistic theory of the cubist painters and the work of pop artist, David Hockney.

 

 

The gallery is located on the
third floor of the campus
at 2809 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley.
