Penn State Lehigh Valley is proud to kick off its 100th anniversary celebration with the exhibition Penn State and Beyond – featuring the paintings and prints of Allentown architect, artist, and Penn State alumnus, Richard Greenleaf.
This exhibition features over fifty paintings and prints of sights ranging from impressionistic ocean scenes to architectural cityscapes. Greenleaf’s unique painting style captures the essence of each location representing Lehigh Valley favorites to popular vacation spots, as well as many famous Penn State haunts! Making this exhibition particularly special is the inclusion of paintings created when Mr. Greenleaf was a young student at Penn State University, studying to be an architect. Commemorating the campus’ 100th anniversary is a scene of the new Lehigh Valley campus, created by Greenleaf, specifically for this exhibition and for permanent display at Penn State Lehigh Valley.
