Campus to host corporate communications career info panel
Penn State Lehigh Valley will host a corporate communications career information panel from 1-2:30 p.m., Apr. 16, in the auditorium (room 135) at the campus in Center Valley. Light refreshments will be served.
This panel intends to inform students on career opportunities available for those interested in a degree in corporate communications. Laurie Gostely-Hackett, Geoff Gutgold, Charliese King, Shaun Leisher, and Susan L. Williams will all speak on behalf of their personal success stories in the communications field and express different opportunities available.
Laurie Gostely-Hackett is manager of community relations and philanthropy at Air Products. Her responsibilities include managing the Air Products Foundation, employee engagement, corporate citizenship, philanthropic giving, and leveraging relationships externally and internally.
Geoff Gutgold is the owner and director of GGA Global, a full-service, award-winning advertising agency in Allentown, Pa. GGA serves a wide variety of clients to help meet their advertising, public relations, and social media needs.
Charliese King is an independent human resources consultant with over thirty years of experience. She has worked with a variety of financial services firms including The New England; Wall Street firm, Home Life Insurance Company; The Wyatt Company; and Fannie Mae.
Shaun Leisher is currently the Drama Club adviser and head director of the spring musical at Northwestern Lehigh Middle School. He has worked in various productions around the Lehigh Valley from community theatre to middle school productions.
Susan L. Williams, principal of the public relations consulting firm Susan Williams and Associates LLC, is a skilled public relations practitioner who has provided direct leadership counsel to more than a dozen presidents, executive directors, CEOs, and superintendents.
