Specialist Certificate: Teaching Writing and Literacy  (15 graduate level credits) - The Specialist Certificate is designed to afford educators deep study in all aspects of teaching literacy. English as a Second Language (15 graduate level credits) - English as a Second Language (ESL) Program Specialist Certificate is designed to meet Pennsylvania’s endorsement requirement for ESL instructors by offering the complement of necessary courses taught exclusively by Penn State instructors who are National Writing Project Fellows, employing and sharing best practices from their classrooms.  Learn More About The ESL Program Specialist Certificate Program

Go 60 Program - Pennsylvania residents who are at least 60 years old and are retired or working less than half-time may enroll as Go-60 students. Courses are limited to 6 credits per semester, are lower division courses, and are on a space available basis only. Technology and Activity fees apply.

The program does not apply to courses, noncredit workshops, conferences, and other activities offered by Penn State Continuing Education. Learn More About the Go-60 Program
